Advanced Multiroom Artifact Line For Sphere Certified Integrators Becomes Even More Powerful And Refined
2009 CEDIA Expo, Booth #819
Russound, the #1 trade-mark in multiroom audio, continues to advance its premium E-Series lineup for Sphere Certified Integrators with the enhancement of two of its most in fashion products, the TSV-E5 touchscreen and the ACA-E5 Multisource/Multizone controller amplifier; and by commencing shipment of its wireless RF remote, the RFR-E5. The new products further widen the state-of-the-art multiroom experience that Sphere Certified Integrators can offer their clients through Russound’s acclaimed E-Series.
“In its first two years on the market, the E-Series has earned the commitment of our Sphere Certified Integrators and the hearts of their customers,” said Andy Lewis, Russound’s Numero uno of Product Management. “We’ve now taken a major leap forward with both the ACA-E5 controller/amplifier and its matching TSV-E5 touchscreen, and added a assistance-held wireless remote that lets end users enjoy the same rich interface they get from the KLK-E5 Click Wheel Keypad, only from their unhurried chair, or anywhere in the home. These products let Sphere Integrators specify more feature-rich installations, with demonstrable benefits that their customers can tangibly see in the palm of their share.”
Bowers & Wilkins Rolls Out New Sub Pro AV Magazine
B&W Loudspeakers has introduced its latest in-go bust enclose subwoofer, the ISW-4.
According to the company, most in-wall subwoofers underperform due to inadequate driver design, because what works in a old-fashioned enclosure is not necessarily ideal for in-wall installation, or from a lack of optimized EQ/amplification, or from a substandard enclosure.
Genesis of the ISW-4 was led by Dr. John Dibb at the Steyning Research Establishment in the United Kingdom. Two years of effort resulted in the ISW-4, which features a sandbank enclosure that fits 2x4-inch stud bays and dual B&W-designed, long-throw, 8-inch bass drivers with Kevlar/legal papers cones. According to the company, the combination of Kevlar and paper fibers creates a non-resonant cone that is still steep and lightweight for bass performance down to 17 Hz -6dB EQ at A setting on the SA-250 mono power amplifier/crossover. Additionally, the BB-ISW-4 MDF backbox prevents block shake and cabinet distortions, says the company.
It has a definitely thin remote wire. It's so thin, you cant strip it. If you buy this wire set up - do not try and strip the center remote wire - It will just break.....I had to buy a seperate implausible wire from the local car audio place - Jumping Jacks in Babylon NY. Pass on this purchase....Buy it here now!
